Who we are

Dear Momma World is an imprint of SFDC Ventures Inc. When this note says “we”, it means SFDC Ventures Inc. You can reach us any time at hello@dearmommaworld.com.

What we collect

• When you ask for a short read: your email address and the stage you chose, so we can send it.
• When you sign up for our letters: your email address, the stages you ticked, and a record of your consent: what the sign-up said, the date, and the page you signed up on.
• When you buy a book: Gumroad, which runs our checkout, collects your payment details. We never see your card number. Gumroad tells us your name, your email address and what you bought, so we can deliver it and help if something goes wrong.
• When you write to us: whatever you choose to tell us.

What we use it for

• To send you what you asked for.
• If you ticked the box or signed up for our letters: to send you letters for your stage, with the occasional note about our books. We don’t send you notes selling a book you already own.
• To answer you, and to keep records the law requires.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone except the services that do this work for us.

The services we use

• Kit sends our emails and keeps our list.
• Gumroad runs checkout, payment, tax and delivery of the books.

Both are based in the United States, so your information may be stored and processed there, under their own privacy policies. While it’s there, it may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities in the United States. We remain responsible for it, and we only use services that protect it.

Your choices

• Stop our letters with the unsubscribe link in any email. It takes one click.
• See, correct or delete what we hold about you: write to hello@dearmommaworld.com and we’ll do it.
• We keep purchase records for as long as tax law requires. We keep everything else only as long as you’re on our list, or until you ask us to delete it.
• We answer every request within 30 days.

Questions and complaints

Our privacy officer handles every privacy question and complaint. Write to the privacy officer at hello@dearmommaworld.com, or at SFDC Ventures Inc., 605-1489 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, BC V7T 1B8, with any question or complaint about your information, and a person will answer. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
